2019 Grand Chapter

This year, Grand Chapter was held in Salt Lake City June 27-29 in honor of the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) which is located there. HCI was founded by brother Jon Huntsman ‘59. Sigma Chi has been a major donor to this worthy effort and committed to raising an additional $20,000,000 by the year 2030.  A special reception was held in the Sigma Chi Fraternity Friendship Garden located at the center of the facility to announce this commitment.

At Grand Chapter, two Beta Delta brothers were recognized:

Cory “Riggs” Rigler ‘98 received the Order of Constantine award. The Order of Constantine recognizes Sigma Chi brothers for their commitment, dedication and service to the Fraternity for a minimum of twenty years. Induction into the Order is considered to be the highest honor that the Sigma Chi Fraternity bestows upon one of its members. The honor has been conferred on 720 brothers since the Order's inception in 1948. Major General Randall Mosley ‘69 received the Significant Sig award. Sigma Chi has recognized more than 1800 brothers since the inception of this award in 1935 for extraordinary accomplishment in career or service.  Brother Mosley served in Vietnam followed by the US Army Reserve and Montana Army National Guard, achieving the rank of Major General in 2005.

In the pursuit of these high ideals, the Sigma Chi Fraternity is able to offer tremendous value in augmenting the collegiate experience and supporting the lifelong journey of each of its members. We hope to assist brothers in becoming men of character, caring husbands, compassionate fathers and community leaders.
